Note: Ann Maguire is recorded in the 1891 Census as Daughter aged 1. However, in the 1901 Census, as Granddaughter aged 11. Her parentage is therefore uncertain. Possibilily, the illigitimate child of one of Thomas Maguire' daughters?

Matilda Bishop in 1901 lived at 3 New York Place, Chorlton-Upon-Medlock, Manchester. Number 5 was the birthplace of David Lloyd George (17 January 1863 – 26 March 1945) British prime minister (1916–22)

L.S.Lowry did a painting of the house.

In June 1957 the house was demolished along with the rest of the street.
